At the Ogden Marathon, we believe running should be accessible for everyone. To support this, we created the Ogden Marathon Scholarship to provide race fee assistance to individuals in our community.

Applications for the 2026 Ogden Marathon Scholarship are now closed. We’re grateful to everyone who applied or submitted a nomination.

Each year, a limited number of subsidized race entries are awarded to individuals facing financial hardship. The scholarship covers up to 100% of race registration fees and does not include travel.

Applications may be submitted by individuals over the age of 18, the parent/legal guardian of youth under 18, or a nominator. Scholarships are awarded to participants who meet race age requirements: participants must be 16 years or older on race day for the America First Ogden Marathon, 12 years or older for the Half Marathon or 8.2 Mile, and 6 years or older for the Bechtel 5K.
