Wednesday
6:00 pm - 10 Year Club Dinner | Hall of Fame Dinner – Attend by Invite Only

FRIDAY
9:00 am – Shake Out Run – Join us for a short 3-mile fun run
9:45 am – Ribbon cutting at Expo to open Marathon Weekend – Ogden Weber Chamber
10:00 am - 8:00 pm – PACKET PICKUP – at the Fleet Feet Fun & Fitness Expo

SATURDAY
4:45 am – Bus loading begins! – Please check the bus loading schedule to determine your load time and location.
5:15 am – VIP runner bus loading from 26th St. & Washington Blvd., by Bank of Utah
5:30 am – Ogden Canyon Closes
7:00 am – FULL MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, RELAY, 8.2 Mile START
7:00 am – Autoliv Finish Line Festival opens to the public with food, music, and lots of fun!
7:00 am – 5K START (No Bussing)
8:30 am – 5K overall awards presented. Main Park Stage
9:30 am – 8.2 Mile overall awards presented. Main Park Stage
10:30 am – Half Marathon overall awards presented. Main Park Stage.
11:00 am – Kids K registration opens at the GOAL booth.
11:15 am – Full Marathon overall awards presented. Main Park Stage.
11:45 am – Relay Team overall and Corporate Cup awards presented. Main Park Stage.
12:30 pm – Granite Kids K Race begins at 25th St. & Kiesel Ave.
1:30 pm – Ogden Canyon reopens
2:00 pm – End of race

Race Day

Many of our partner hotels are walking distance from the bus loading area (intersection of Washington Blvd and 25th St.)

Public parking and street parking is available throughout in downtown Ogden surrounding the marathon road closure areas. A map with recommended public parking lots is posted above.

Please check lots to determine if it is a pay lot and pay the appropriate fees. Follow all no parking and tow away zones, as you are at risk for a ticket and towing.

Bus Loading Road Closures:
Washington Boulevard from 27th Street to 24th Street
24th Street will be closed from Lincoln Avenue to Washington Boulevard
25th Street will be closed from Washington Boulevard to Adams Avenue
Grant Avenue will be closed between 26th Street and 18th Street

Suggested alternative routes for the downtown corridor are Harrison Boulevard and Wall Avenue.

BUS LOADING

There is NO parking at any start line. All participants must ride the Bus to the start area.

You will be required to show your race bib to board the bus. If you miss the bus, there is no other transportation available to the start line.

Below is the schedule from the 2024 Ogden Marathon for reference. We are currently finalizing the details for the 2025 event, and will update this page as the race date gets closer. Stay tuned for the latest information!

4:45 am - 5:15 am — Buses load West Side of Washington Blvd, North of 25th St, in front of Key Bank for Half Marathon and Relay Leg 3
5:15 am - 5:45 am — VIP Buses load for Full and Half Marathon on 26th St, West of Washington Blvd. in front of Bank of Utah
5:30 am - 6:00 am — Buses load 25th Street, East of Washington Blvd, across from The Monarch for the 8.2Mi
7:00 am - 7:30 am — Buses load in front of GOAL Building (2440 Washington Blvd.) for Relay Leg 4
7:30 am - 8:00 am — Buses load in front of GOAL Building (2440 Washington Blvd.) for Relay Leg 5

Full Marathon

Load 4:45 - 5:15 am
2510 Washington Blvd. (East side of Washington Blvd.) In front of the Bigelow Hotel. Last bus will leave at 5:15 sharp.

Half Marathon

Load 4:45 - 5:15 am
2491 Washington Blvd. (West side of Washington Blvd.) In front of Key Bank. Last bus will leave at 5:15 sharp.

Load 5:30 - 6:00 am

455 25th St Ogden, UT. Buses load on 25th Street, East of Washington Blvd across the street from The Monarch. Last bus will leave at 6:00 sharp.

2510 Washington Blvd. (East side of Washington Blvd.) in front of the Bigelow Hotel. You will ride the buses with the Full Marathon participants. The last bus will leave at 5:15 am sharp.

Leg Three
Load 4:45 am - 5:15 am
2491 Washington Blvd. (West side of Washington Blvd.) In front of Key Bank.
You will ride the buses with the Half Marathon participants. The last bus will leave at 5:15 am sharp.

Leg Four
Load 7:00-7:30am
2440 Washington Blvd. in front of GOAL Foundation Building (East side of Washington Blvd.) The last bus will leave at 7:30 am sharp.

Leg Five
Load 7:30-8:00am
2440 Washington Blvd. in front of GOAL Foundation Building (East side of Washington Blvd.) The last bus will leave at 8:00 am sharp.

Shuttle to Finish for Relay legs 1-4:
Once you have completed your relay leg, there will be buses waiting to shuttle relay participants to the finish line. Bus schedules may vary, and participants are not guaranteed to make it to the finish line before their team has finished the race.

Autoliv Finish Line Festival

The Autoliv Finish Line Festival is FREE and open to the community on race day from 7am-2pm at the Ogden Municipal Gardens. Join us for live music, food trucks, vendors, and family fun activities in the Kids Zone before the Kids K kicks off!

The Granite Kids K is a FREE fun run (under 1 mile) for kids ages 12 and under starting at 12:30pm from outside the Ogden Amphitheater at the intersection of Kiesel Ave and 25th Street. Registration includes a swag bag with bib, cape, and more!

Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Enter your child's name under Personal Information and you will be prompted to enter your information next.

Whether you join in on the run with your little ones or hang on the sidelines for high-fives, this is an event you will not want to miss!

Road Closures

Ogden Valley

On the 3rd Saturday in May each year, Ogden Canyon will be closed from 5:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. for the Ogden Marathon. Ogden Canyon residents will be permitted to use the Utah Highway Patrol shuttle service to travel to and from their homes. No through traffic will be permitted in during the canyon closure. Valley residents please expect delays and use an alternate route.

South Fork Canyon motorists should expect delays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Motorists traveling around Pineview Reservoir should anticipate delays between 5:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The canyon will be reopened at 1:30 p.m.

Additionally, Hwy 158 between the spillway and the Valley Market in the Ogden Valley, will be closed during the race. Eden, Huntsville, and Liberty residents are asked to use Trappers Loop or the North Ogden Divide due to the Ogden Canyon closure. All Valley traffic is expected to return to normal by 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Downtown Ogden

Grant Avenue will be closed between 26th Street and 18th Street until 3 p.m. Washington Boulevard will be restricted to one lane in each direction at 17th Street. Park Boulevard will also be restricted to one-way traffic (eastbound) from Washington Boulevard to Monroe Boulevard from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Streets will reopen immediately following the race. Motorists should plan accordingly. Suggested alternative routes for the downtown corridor are Harrison Boulevard and Wall Avenue.

24th Street will be closed from Lincoln Avenue to Washington Boulevard for the duration of the race. 25th Street will be closed from Washington Boulevard to Grant Avenue for the Autoliv Finish Line Festival until approximately 3:00 p.m.

Washington Boulevard from 27th Street to 24th Street will be closed for bus loading from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Spectators

There is a lot of fun to be had even if you're not participating in any of the Ogden Marathon running events. We have an incredible Expo on Friday and a Finish Line Festival race day that includes live music, vendors, activities for the kids, food trucks and more!

You can track your runner's progress on race day through a link your runner will receive during race week.

Where can we watch the race?
  • The best place to watch is at our Finish Line, which is at 25th Street and Grant Ave.
  • The half way point for the Full Marathon is at Eden Park (parking is very limited and the Ogden Canyon is closed)
  • Along the Ogden River Parkway
  • Along the final mile between 18th and Grant Ave. and 25th and Grant
  • Please discourage family members from attempting to spectate at the mouth of Ogden Canyon due to high traffic levels and congestion.
